Someday is a simple iOS countdown app. Set a target date, give it a title and an emoji, and every morning your Lock Screen widget, Home Screen widget, and Dynamic Island show exactly how many days are left. Use it for a vacation, a wedding, a graduation, a retirement, a due date, a sobriety milestone — anything you're counting toward.

Someday is a one-time $1.99 purchase on the App Store. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no accounts. Your countdowns live only on your device.

❓Frequently asked questions

• How do I add a countdown?

  Open the app and tap the orange + button in the bottom-right corner of the Home screen. Give the countdown a title, pick a target date, choose an emoji, pick a color, then tap Save. Your new countdown appears at the top of the list and its widgets refresh automatically.

• How do the widgets work?

  Someday ships Lock Screen widgets (circular, rectangular, and inline), Home Screen widgets (small, medium, and large), and a Live Activity that appears automatically on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island when a countdown is within 24 hours.

  To install one, long-press an empty area on your Lock Screen or Home Screen, tap Customize or the + button, search for Someday, and pick the widget size you want. Tap the widget after placing it to choose which countdown it should track.

• How do I edit or delete a countdown?

  On the Home screen, swipe left on any countdown card to reveal Edit and Delete. Or tap a countdown to open its detail screen, then use the ••• menu in the top-right corner. Deleting a countdown removes it from every widget and Live Activity immediately.

• Does Someday collect any of my data?

  No. Someday does not use analytics, tracking, ads, or accounts. Your countdowns are stored only on your device inside the app's private container. Nothing about your countdowns ever leaves your phone. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

• Is there a Restore Purchases button?

  No, and there does not need to be. Someday is paid up-front — the App Store purchase of the app itself is the only transaction. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions to restore. If you reinstall Someday on the same Apple ID, the App Store restores your purchase automatically at download.

• I bought Someday on my old iPhone. How do I get it on my new one?

  Sign in to your new iPhone with the same Apple ID you used to buy Someday, then download it again from the App Store — either from your Purchased list or by searching for Someday — Countdown to Anything. It downloads without charging you a second time.

• Which iPhones and iPads does Someday support?

  Someday requires iOS 17.0 or later. It runs on any iPhone or iPad that can install iOS 17. Widgets and Live Activities require the same minimum. Dynamic Island appearance is limited to iPhone models with the Dynamic Island hardware.

• How do I request a feature or report a bug?
